Life In Abundance Trust - LIAT

 

Life in Abundance (Ecuador) Trust was formed in 2004 to support the work of Jill Ball in Ecuador, with the logo of the Monarch butterfly representing ‘abundant life’ as we seek to improve the lives of the poor and marginalised and show them God’s great love.

 

Life in Abundance (Ecuador) Trust is the UK fund raising arm, providing resources and finance to develop the on going projects designed to assist the poor and needy and to help them become more self sufficient. The sister Trust in Ecuador is ‘Vida en Abundancia’ which has its own ‘directiva’ (trustees) and meets regularly with Jill to develop and fund the work in Santo Domingo.


Life in Abundance (Ecuador ) Trust works closely with and is complimentary to the Church Missionary Society (CMS), who provide the personal resources Jill requires as well as publishing the quarterly news sheets / prayer letters; screening volunteers and providing personal background support.

 

The aims and objectives of LIAT Ecuador trust:

  • Providing education to children with special educational needs
  • Developing Pre-school education on the local barrio
  • Developing card making workshops and jewellery making workshops to enhance family incomes
  • Developing a large project to support women and children who have suffered from abuse.
